Warm Weather Shipping Policy - Please read carefully!
During the hot summer months, The Online Candy Shop strongly recommends that all meltable candy items (chocolate) be shipped via an expedited shipping method. Expedited orders (2 day air or overnight) will be packed with reusable ice packs and insulation at no additional charge. The Online Candy Shop is not responsible for damage of meltable items during shipping, unless an expedited shipping method is chosen. The Online Candy Shop cannot accept returns for chocolate during hot summer months. The Online Candy Shop reserves the right to cancel orders if the correct shipping method is not chosen for meltable items. It will be The Online Candy Shop's discretion to contact customers by email or phone to notify them of such cancellations. To limit the amount of heat damage, The Online Candy Shop will ship all perishable items Monday - Thursday, and all orders placed on Thursday evening through Sunday will be shipped out on Monday or Tuesday.
