Question: How much does shipping cost?
Answer: Shipping costs are determined using the real time shipping rates, which means we use the actual shipping prices that are charged to us from the carriers. The Online Candy Shop does not add handling fees or charges to the shipping price, so rest assured that you are paying the actual rate that it costs to get from our warehouse to you.
Shipping fees are determined by the total weight of your order (including packing supplies like boxes and protective materials) and distance from our shipping postal code to your delivery postal code.
Question: Can I see how much my shipping charges will be prior to completing my order?
Answer: Yes. For orders being shipped to the United States, you can calculate your shipping costs by first placing the items you want into your shopping cart. Once you have the items with the correct quantities you want in your shopping cart, you can enter your U.S. Postal Code and click on the word "Go". You will then be taken to a screen where you can choose the shipping carrier and service speed you require.
Question: Can I ship my order to a PO Box?
Answer: Yes, we ship to PO boxes on a daily basis. When ordering to a PO Box, please make sure to select USPS Option (Priority or Express Mail) as your shipping choice. Please note that UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. If you choose UPS as your carrier method to a PO Box address, you will be contacted by The Online Candy Shop in order to change your address to a residential address or change your shipping option to another shipping option. This may delay your order and additional shipping charges may apply.
Question: Can my order be shipped to an APO / FPO / DPO address or military base?
Answer: Yes! In an effort to help assist the families in getting sweets to their brave loved ones, who are serving our great nation, The Online Candy Shop offers shipping to: APO, FPO, DPO, and all Military Bases. USPS Priority Mail is the only option for these deliveries. Depending on the destination and other factors, estimated delivery time can range from 5-21 days after the item is shipped.
Question: Do you ship internationally?
Answer: Yes, we ship internationally using the US Post Office as our shipping carrier for international destinations. Depending on your international destination, it may take anywhere from 7-10 business days to arrive to your location. In addition, there may be additional wait times and fees associated with importing a package to your country. Unfortunately we are unable to calculate shipping fees for international orders using our "calculate shipping" button. Instead, you must add all the items you want to purchase to your shopping cart and then proceed through the checkout process to see the estimated shipping fees. There is no obligation to purchase the order.
Question: Does the Online Candy Shop require a minimum order?
Answer: No. There is no minimum order requirement when shopping at The Online Candy Shop.
Question: Does The Online Candy Shop collect sales tax?
Answer: Currently, The Online Candy Shop collects sales tax on any order shipping to New York State at the current rate of state sales tax. Presently, we do not collect sales tax for any orders shipping outside of New York State.
Question: Does The Online Candy Shop offer a return policy?
Answer: Please refer to our Returns Policy Page.
Question: How can I pay for my order?
Answer: The Online Candy Shop accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, and Pay Pal. We also accept money orders and certified bank checks. For corporate orders, we accept purchase orders, however these orders must be placed by phone. Please feel free to call us to set up a corporate account for buying candy with a purchase order or refer to our Corporate Accounts page.
Question: Does The Online Candy Shop offer free samples?
Answer: Yes. When we have availability, we make every attempt to have a free candy sample included with each order. Please remember to check all labels for allergen information prior to trying any samples.
