**Please Read Our Return Policy Carefully**
Food products cannot be returned, and we do not refund for melting or damage due to melting.
Please plan accordingly when placing an order and if you have any concerns, specific questions, or need to speak to a sales representative, please do so prior to placing your order.
Our new shipping rules: We have recently changed our shipping methods to better serve all of our customers in the United States. We have updated our shipping rules to banded rates (based on total product price). There are now two shipping options for the entire United States: Method 1 is standard shipping (2-6 business days) and Method 2 is expedited shipping (1-4 business days). These rates are for the entire United States and can be seen in the chart below:

Shipping in Warm Weather:
If it is warm in your area, or warm on the route that your order will travel during transit, please make sure that the you choose the correct shipping method to meet your needs, PRIOR to placing the order. We will ship the way that you instructed us to (for example: if STANDARD SHIPPING is chosen as the shipping method, we will ship it out STANDARD, we will not ship it via EXPEDITED if STANDARD is chosen).
If a heat-sensitive item melts for any reason whatsoever, please remember that we do not refund for melting!
Please make sure someone is around to receive the package. Boxes containing meltable items left on the doorstep, at front door, on the porch, under bushes, etc. will melt when left outside in warm weather.
Incorrect Items / Accidentally Ordered Items:
Please Double Check your online order before hitting the order button, as we cannot accept returns on food and candy items!
We have an excellent system of checks and balances during the packing process to help us keep human errors to a minimum. Unfortunately, there are times that we do make a mistake with an order. In the event that we make a mistake with your order (ie: packing error, wrong item shipped etc.), we will take full responsibility, and work quickly to resolve the situation.
Kindly contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order, as we cannot honor or accommodate any requests for refunds/reships after 5 business days have passed, after tracking information shows package was delivered.
If shipment(s) is/are refused, the original and return shipping costs will be charged to the purchaser's original form of payment. In addition, if the merchandise that is refused and returned to The Online Candy Shop is still in its original condition, a 15% restocking fee will apply.
If the merchandise that is refused and returned to The Online Candy Shop is in any other condition than it was originally shipped out (ie: damaged, melted, deformed etc.), return shipping costs will be charged to the purchaser's original form of payment and the contents will be destroyed. Therefore there will be NO REFUNDS.
Shipping Address Corrections:
Sometimes, even after a customer double and triple checks an order prior to placing it, mistakes still happen. If a customer provides an incorrect address when placing an order, it is their responsibility to contact us and request an intercept/address correction.
If the package is still in our warehouse, there will be no charge to correct an address.
If the package is NOT in our warehouse, then it is already in transit and the customer will be charged a fee of $15.00 to correct the address. Please note that this service fee is charged directly by our carrier (UPS), and it is performed on a Best Effort Basis.
In the event that the order cannot be intercepted, and UPS cannot provide an address correction, then there are different circumstances that can arise (not limited to the following):
The package may be returned to The Online Candy Shop, in its original condition. (The original and return shipping costs will be charged to the purchaser's original form of payment, and a 15% restocking fee will apply).
The package may be returned to The Online Candy Shop, not in its original condition. (The original and return shipping costs will be charged to the purchaser's original form of payment, and there will be No Refund).
The package may be delivered to the original address provided and someone else receives the merchandise. (No Refund)
The package is lost in transit, due to insufficient address provided by the customer. (No Refund)
Please note that address correction services are only available for UPS shipments.
The USPS (Postal Service) does NOT provide any address correction services.
